Inventory vs. Custom |
What is an "Inventory" home?
An "Inventory home" is a house that we build for a certain location based on the speculation that someone will come along to buy it. We build inventory homes in a variety of sub-divisions, staggering the start/completion date to ensure that we always have homes available for our customers. This means that homes are always available for quick possession.
Depending on the possession-status of any given home, there are opportunities to make changes to the interior design choices. For example, you may be able to work with our designer to customize interior elements such as:
- flooring
- cabinetry
- paint
- window coverings
- tile
- fixtures
Once building has started, no changes can be made to the exterior because architectural plans have already been approved before building commences.
Advantages of Buying an Inventory Home
