A true southern Albertan, Rob was raised in Pincher Creek and has lived in Lethbridge since 1975. He graduated from the University of Lethbridge in 1979 with a Bachelor of Arts in Physical Education majoring in sports medicine. He worked as an athletic therapist in Lethbridge for many years with the Lethbridge Broncos in the WHL, the pioneer league affiliate of the LA Dodgers the Lethbridge Dodgers, Judo Canada and the University of Lethbridge.
His sales career began in 1986 as a manager for Gotschna Ski Haus and in 1988 he became a sales consultant for Beny Chev Olds Cadillac. He moved into Beny's management in 1990 and became General Manager in 1995.
When Rob joined the Avonlea team, he brought with him more than 20 years experience in sales consultation, management and training. His many Avonlea clients benefit from his experience and his natural ability to assist them through an enjoyable and successful new home purchase decision.
When he's not busy with Avonlea, Rob enjoys time with his two beautiful daughters - Shanna-Lea and Jordynne. Family and personal hobbies include skiing, water skiing, sea-dooing and boating, camping, stock car racing, golfing and more recently competitive team cattle penning and sorting. He also enjoys the sport of rodeo and is the 2nd Vice President of the Fort MacLeod and District Ag Society. He was also a member of the Chinook Rodeo Association for many years, serving as president from 2004-2006.
